Infiniti logo history, Infiniti emblem
Infiniti – young car brand of Nіssan Company, whose history rise to the late 80s – early 90s. In 1989 there was presented the first two models of Infiniti and, accordingly, the world saw the well-known logo. Vip-brand made a competition for developing its logo and name. Two important conditions were considered: the title couldn’t be long, it should be easy to read and not tied to anything of the arts. The tender was won by the advertising company “Lіrrіnsott Merser.”
“Infinity” last letter “y” was replaced by letter «i», so title became more dynamic and looked more spectacular with four «i».
Following the title, the designers wanted to make the logo, which was based on the Möbius loop but then they went a little different way. Infiniti logo – this is an image of the road receding into the distance, it tends to infinity, perfection, and it has no boundaries. The style of the logo matches the design of the car – a perfection of forms and lines, as embodied by means of expensive chromium.
